Quality Control Test Number



Prior to market release, all quality wines (Qualitätswein and Qualitätswein mit Prädikat) are required to undergo quality control testing, including a blind tasting by a neutral panel of experts. The tests are devised by the German Agricultural Society (DLG) before the wine will get the quality control test number (A.P.Nr.) This number must be shown on each label.

The A.P.Nr. looks the following:
