Wine Growing Region



There are 13 different wine regions in Germany. The second largest is the Pfalz (Palatinate) with 23.400 hectares (58.000 acres) of vineyards. Along the “Deutsche Weinstrasse” (German wine route) this wine area is 80 Kilometres long and 6-10 km wide. The Pfalz is divided into the sections “Mittelhaardt Deutsche Weinstraße” and “Südliche Weinstraße”.
